I've archived this copy of the discussion but the discussion continues on Talk:Sakura Wars. If you disagree with my archiving, please feel free to undo it, but I think it's best to keep discussions together and in the appropriate place. --Tony Sidaway 15:15, 26 June 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Milo, I'm no fan of the recent changes to WP:SPOILER, nor of the ways they were achieved. But note that Miszabot will not archive a section if anybody has edited it in the last xx days. I agree that 2 days was much too short. But 5 is not unreasonable. If an issue is that contentious, it won't appear and then go silent all within 48 hours. "The misuse of the subpoena process by an adultentertainment company emphasizes the potential for abusewith insufficient privacy protections in the law," explainedEFF Legal Director Cindy Cohn. "Without vetting by anycourt, companies can issue subpoenas that disclose theidentities of targeted individuals and link their names togay-themed adult porn, making it impossible for them toregain their privacy later even if the allegations arepatently false."

"The DC Court dismissed our concerns about subpoena processabuse as premature," added EFF Staff Attorney Gwen Hinze."The California Court will have an opportunity to considercritical privacy concerns in light of the thousands ofsubpoenas the RIAA has issued as a clear abuse of thesubpoena process." 59ce067264
