Carbrook Centre is proud to be part of a generous and connected community. Our relationships with local businesses, organisations, community groups and individuals create opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom and enrich the experiences available to our students.
From providing resources, funding and work experience opportunities to sharing skills, culture and life experiences with our young people, our community plays an important role in what we do. We are incredibly grateful for those who continue to invest their time, expertise and support into Carbrook Centre and the students we serve.
Our Supporters
Logan City Council support the Carbrook Centre through provision of the Old Carbrook School site, under the Community Lease program. This heritage listed site is an ideal setting to facilitate animal assisted learning for students with complex needs.
The Rotary Club of Loganholme assisted Carbrook Centre with a grant from The Rotary Foundation to purchase resources and training for the school to deliver the QuickSmart Literacy program. QuickSmart Literacy uses responsive, small-group intervention programs designed to enhance a student’s fluency in reading and comprehension by improving their information retrieval times.
MC Solar & Electrical have been long-standing supporters of Carbrook Centre. They provide work experience opportunities for our students and have generously donated funds, resources and 9.5kW Fronius and QCells Solar panel system. MC Electrical install high quality residential and commercial solar panels in Brisbane and surrounding areas.
