ENROLMENTS
Professional Referrals Now Open
Carbrook Centre is currently accepting Professional Referrals for students to be considered for our waitpool.
Referrals are reviewed by a panel as enrolment opportunities arise. If your young person is shortlisted, a member of our team will contact you directly.
Please note that we are unable to accommodate individual site visits. However, we encourage you to visit our website for information on the next scheduled Carbrook Centre Open Day.
Steps

-
Identify a professional who knows the student well, such as a teacher, therapist, or caseworker, and can comment on their needs and adjustments.
-
Request information from the current or previous school about the level of NCCD support provided, including the category of adjustment and types of support in place.
-
Have the identified professional complete the Professional Referral Form below and provide them with the level of NCCD adjustment provided by the current/previous school.

Please note that the Carbrook Centre panel may shortlist waitpool applicants based on criteria including long term disengagement from schooling, complex needs and student's interest in animal assisted learning (particularly horses and dogs). Priority may also be given to students residing within Logan City. Enrolments are not awarded solely on the date of application.
We have compiled a list of other Special Assistance Schools in the Logan, Brisbane and Ipswich areas you may wish to consider. Please note that enrolling at another school will not exclude you from consideration as places become available:
