My laptop has a VGA port on it, and I don't have any VGA monitor hooked up to it. I have the standard VGA graphic card on it, but I cannot connect a screen to it. The screen works fine on other laptops.
The laserjet 8100 series can only install from the online web portal but not from the driver disk. The other driver in 6.1.7600.16385 is also an 8100 series but the printer name is a different name. Do you know if I can install the newer driver from the disk?
If you already have the driver downloaded, right click on it, select "Run with a different user account", and point it to your existing installation directory. It should then install correctly.
